The MGL Avionics Type K EGT Thermocouple Large Clamp Kit is intended for fitting an EGT probe to an exhaust system that does not have a provision for an M8x1 probe thread.

The installation method described for this kit uses a hole drilled to suit the probe tip in the exhaust manifold, with the probe retained by the clamp assembly.

  • For Type K EGT probe installation
  • Includes a drilled stainless-steel band
  • Includes a galvanised adjuster
  • Includes an M8x1 metric fine-pitch retaining nut

Suitable for maintenance or replacement use where the required probe mounting arrangement is not already incorporated in the exhaust system. Confirm probe dimensions, exhaust configuration and installation requirements before purchase and fitting.
