The Telex Airman 850 is a lightweight, dual-sided active noise reduction (ANR) aviation headset in the Airbus-style XLR connector configuration. Manufacturer part number 301317002 is specified with a 600 Ω receiver impedance and XLR-5-12C connector.

Designed for clear cockpit communications, the Airman 850 combines battery-free ANR operation with a noise-cancelling electret boom microphone. ANR is powered by microphone bias, so continuous microphone power is required.
