The A-510-5 is a keyed aircraft ignition switch designed for ON/OFF electrical control of both magnetos. This version is supplied without a starter position.

The switch is intended for rear-panel installation in a 7/8 in. panel opening (approximately 22 mm). Its billet-aluminium housing provides a lightweight, robust construction for aircraft electrical-panel installations.

Overview

These fine quality switches are being used in many aircraft. The switch housing is now machined from billet aluminum which makes this switch 25% lighter. They provide “ON” and “OFF” electrical control of broth magnetos on single engine aircraft. The key-operated switches mount from the rear of the panel in a 7/8” dia. hole. Available with or without starter position.

Experimental aircraft only or 337 Form required for Production aircraft.

Without Starter Position., Supplied with switch plate & 2 keys. (diode not required) A-510-5.

Multiple ignition switches & lock sets are available with the same key. This is a special order and extra charges & lead times will apply.
