The Gill G-242 is a dry-charged, flooded 24 V aircraft battery supplied without electrolyte. It is intended for activation and maintenance in accordance with the applicable Gill instructions.

  • Manufacturer part number: G-242
  • Nominal voltage: 24 V
  • Capacity: 10 Ah at the 1-hour rate
  • Emergency capacity: 17 A at the 30-minute rate
  • Cold-cranking performance: 150 CCA at 0 °F (-18 °C) for 60 seconds
  • Specified electrolyte: 1.285 specific-gravity electrolyte; 2 qt (approximately 1.9 L)

This dry-charged configuration is supplied without electrolyte. Consult the current Gill G-240/G-241/G-242/G-243 specification document and applicable maintenance instructions before activation, installation or servicing.
