The Gill G-246 is a 24 V dry-charged, flooded lead-acid aircraft battery supplied with electrolyte. It is intended for aviation electrical starting and emergency-power duties where the applicable approved maintenance data specifies Gill part number G-246.

Dry-charged construction allows the battery to be activated with electrolyte before service. Follow the applicable aircraft maintenance instructions and Gill battery service documentation for activation, charging, installation and handling.
