The J.P. Instruments M-111-T is a turbine inlet temperature (TIT) probe supplied as Kit 1200 for use with applicable engine-monitoring installations. This Type K thermocouple TIT probe is intended for installation in an exhaust-stack accumulator in accordance with the relevant J.P. Instruments installation documentation and approved maintenance data.

The manufacturer describes the probe as being installed to a maximum depth of approximately 13 mm, with the location selected near the turbine inlet on the wastegate side where applicable. Installation position and routing must be determined by qualified personnel using the applicable aircraft, engine and instrument documentation.
