The UMA Instruments 5-300-10 is a 3-1/8 in (approximately 79 mm) altimeter with a 0–20,000 ft altitude scale, an inches-of-mercury barometric setting window and a two-revolution dial.

Designed as a non-sensitive, single-pointer flight instrument, it provides 100 ft increment markings and a knob-adjustable barometric setting. The 3-1/8 in model has a non-sealed case.

For installation, UMA states that the 3-1/8 in altimeter normally requires no connection. In pressurised cabins or open-cockpit installations with airflow behind the panel, consult the manufacturer’s installation instructions. Do not connect this non-sealed 3-1/8 in model to the aircraft static line, as this may create a static-system leak.
