The J.P. Instruments CHT threaded bayonet probe is a cylinder head temperature sensing component identified by manufacturer part number 1260. The associated 5050T probe is a spring-loaded Type K thermocouple bayonet design for cylinder-head temperature measurement.

The probe incorporates a captive 3/8-24 threaded boss and a screwdriver slot to assist installation in the applicable cylinder-head port. It is intended for use in the relevant J.P. Instruments EDM installation configuration.
