The RC Allen RCA1510-3 is a self-contained digital heading indicator configured with an RS232 serial connection, NVIS-compatible display, integrated backup battery and a 0° panel tilt angle.

Designed for installation in a standard 3-inch instrument panel cut-out, the unit combines an internal magnetometer with GPS input to provide heading information. Its all-digital design has no moving parts and includes a traditional rotating-dial presentation with digital heading readout, adjustable display brightness and an adjustable heading bug.
