The RC Allen RCA1510-3 is a self-contained electric digital heading indicator configured with RS232 GPS data input, an internal backup battery and a 0° panel tilt angle.

Designed for a standard 76 mm instrument panel cut-out, the RCA1510-3 combines information from its internal magnetometer with GPS data to present magnetic heading and GPS ground-track information. Its all-digital design has no mechanical gyroscope or moving parts.
