The Deltran Battery Tender® 6 V 1.25 A charger and maintainer, manufacturer part number 022-0196, is a compact automatic unit for compatible 6 V lead-acid batteries. It is designed to charge and then maintain flooded, sealed maintenance-free, AGM and gel-cell batteries.

The charger uses a four-stage programme comprising initialisation, bulk charge, absorption and float maintenance. Once the battery is charged, it automatically changes to float mode; if battery voltage subsequently drops under load, charging output resumes.
