The Garmin GAD 27 is a solid-state electronic adapter unit designed to add configurable control and interface capability within a Garmin G3X Touch avionics installation. It consolidates several aircraft-system interface functions into one remotely mounted unit, supporting a streamlined avionics installation where applicable.

Documented GAD 27 functions include programmable flap control, configurable lighting dimming circuits, exterior-light wig-wag control, trim-switch mixing, configurable discrete inputs and voltage-bus stabilisation functions. Available functionality depends on the aircraft wiring, system configuration and installed G3X Touch equipment.
