The Dynon SV-MAG-236 Remote Magnetometer provides a remotely mounted magnetic-heading sensor solution for Dynon SkyView installations. It is intended for installations where the magnetometer integrated into the ADAHRS cannot be positioned sufficiently clear of magnetic disturbances while meeting other installation requirements.

Remote mounting allows the magnetometer to be located away from electrical equipment, aircraft wiring and ferrous components, including moving ferrous parts that may affect magnetic sensing.

Overview

SkyView’s ADAHRS provides pilots with all their primary flight instruments in a compact package barely bigger than a deck of cards. In some aircraft, finding a suitable location for the ADAHRS is challenging due to competing location requirements for the air data, attitude, and magnetic heading sensors.
