The Skysports vertical-card compass is a Southern Hemisphere configuration compass with 12 V DC illumination and a mounting bracket.

Its approximately 51 mm vertical card dial displays the full 360° heading range for direct interpretation. The dry-compass design avoids the fluid leakage associated with wet compasses and is intended to reduce much of their precession.
