The Sigma-Tek EA5176 is a restrained airspeed indicator with dual airspeed scales of 40–300 mph and 40–260 kt. It is supplied in a nominal 3-1/8 in (approximately 79 mm) instrument format for aircraft instrument-panel installations where this specific instrument configuration is required.

The indicator operates from ram-air and ambient static pressure from the aircraft pitot-static system. Its restrained movement uses a moveable pointer and fixed dial, with the zero index at the 12 o’clock position. Internal temperature compensation is incorporated, with no external zero adjustment; pointer damping is internally adjustable.
