The Sigma-Tek EA5172L is an illuminated airspeed indicator with a nominal 79 mm instrument size. It is identified by the listed dual-scale designation of 40–300 MPH and 40–200 knots.

Designed for connection to an aircraft pitot-static system, the instrument is actuated by ram air and ambient atmospheric pressure. A movable pointer and fixed dial provide the airspeed indication, with the zero index positioned at 12 o’clock.
