The Vtec FTC 3724 is a compact rectangular flight-time counter for recording take-off and landing times and displaying calculated flight duration. It provides selectable display modes in hours and minutes or hours and hundredths of an hour.

The unit has a 37 × 24 mm rectangular front format and operates from a 12–24 V DC power supply. Initial time setting is carried out using two push buttons on the rear of the unit.
