The Aerospace Logic A200-TCB is a bayonet-type cylinder head temperature (CHT) probe kit for Aerospace Logic 200 Series instruments requiring a CHT input. It uses an ungrounded Type-J thermocouple and is intended for installation in an existing engine thermowell in accordance with the applicable installation instructions.

  • Manufacturer part number: A200-TCB
  • Ungrounded, fast-response Type-J CHT thermocouple
  • 316 stainless-steel probe sheath with high-purity magnesium-oxide insulation
  • Supplied with approximately 1.2 m of twisted, shielded lead and a male shielded thermocouple connector
  • 3/8-24 bayonet compression fitting
  • Probe can be carefully reformed during installation; the manufacturer specifies a minimum bend radius of 25 mm.

The manufacturer identifies the A200-TCB fitting as suitable for Lycoming and Continental engines with the applicable thermowell, excluding O-200 and O-300 engines. Confirm the required probe type, thermowell arrangement and instrument connection before installation.
