The SIRS Radiant Model 1686 is a hand-held prismatic master compass designed for accurate heading measurement during compass-swing procedures on light aircraft and helicopters.

Its liquid-filled compass card provides stable damping, while the non-magnetic brass construction, prism sight line and sight wire support precise bearing observation. The compass is supplied in an impact-resistant ABS stowage box with a calibration certificate.
