The J.P. Instruments M-113 is a 14 mm cylinder head temperature (CHT) gasket probe for JPI EDM engine-monitoring installations.

This gasket-type probe is fitted in place of the standard copper spark-plug gasket on one spark plug, providing a practical CHT sensing location where this probe arrangement is specified. J.P. Instruments identifies the CHT gasket probe as a thermocouple probe; selection of the upper or lower spark-plug position should follow the applicable installation instructions and maintenance data.
