Instruments installation documentation specifies mounting the sensor to the pressure line using a flexible hose and suitable fittings, with the sensor supported on the engine mount structure or firewall. Direct mounting to the engine is not recommended. Select and install all associated hose, fittings, clamps and electrical connections in accordance with the applicable J.P. Instruments documentation and the aircraft’s approved maintenance data.
