The FP1224V5 is a capacitance-type fuel level probe for fuel quantity indication systems. It uses concentric sensing tubes to detect changes in capacitance as the fuel level rises, with an amplifier converting the measurement to a 0–5 V output signal for a compatible meter or display.

This version is specified for 12–24 V operation and features a nominal probe length of 610 mm with a 127 mm bend. Manual calibration is supported.
