The FP1212V is a straight capacitive fuel-level probe with a nominal sensing length of 305 mm (12 in) and a 0–5 V output designation.

Its concentric-tube construction forms a capacitance sensor: the measured value changes as fuel rises around the probe, and the associated electronics convert that change to an output signal for a compatible fuel-level indication system. The probe can be manually calibrated in accordance with the applicable installation and calibration instructions.
