J.P. Instruments EDM-730-4C 231 is an EDM 730 advisory engine-monitoring system configuration for four-cylinder piston engines. This configuration is supplied with a Model 231 fuel-flow transducer and one CHT adapter probe.

The EDM 730 combines a colour LCD display with user-programmable engine parameters and warning annunciation. Its offset rear processor supports vertical or horizontal panel installation, helping accommodate different instrument-panel layouts. JPI specifies data recording with USB download capability for review of recorded engine data.
