The Mid-Continent Instruments and Avionics MD41-1488W is a compact, self-contained GPS annunciation control unit for 28 V DC aircraft electrical systems. This version is configured for horizontal, front-panel mounting.

The unit provides annunciations for VLOC, GPS, MSG, WPT, TERM, APR and INTG status. It incorporates automatic photocell dimming with an external low-level brightness adjustment and connects through a 15-pin high-density D-sub interface.
