The UMA Instruments 1B7 is a non-TSO temperature probe for resistance-input temperature indication systems. It uses a 5 kΩ thermistor sensing element and has an M12 x 1.5 threaded mounting configuration.

The probe features a stepped sensing tip with an approximate 13 mm tip length and is supplied with 152 mm lead wires. Its metric thread format supports identification and replacement against the manufacturer part number.
