The UMA Instruments 8-310-30 is a 3-1/8 in (approximately 79 mm) vertical speed indicator with a ±3,000 ft/min range. It provides a direct indication of rate of climb or descent through the aircraft static system.

This compact analogue flight instrument is temperature compensated and incorporates a zero-adjustment screw on the instrument face.
