RC Allen 15Ak-1 3-1/8 Directional Indicator Gyro TSO

The RC Allen RCA15AK-1 is a 14 VDC, lighted electric directional gyro with direct-reading 360° azimuth indication. Designed for installation in a standard 3-1/8 in (approximately 79 mm) instrument-panel cut-out, it incorporates an electrically driven gyro motor and an internal inverter to convert aircraft DC power for gyro operation.

A power-failure flag provides a visual indication when the supply voltage is lost or falls below the level required for correct gyro operation. Internal lighting is provided through the dedicated lighting connections.
