The Tempest Tornado 3000 AA3215CC-9 is a new dry air vacuum pump for aviation maintenance and replacement requirements.

The Tornado 3000 design incorporates an LRT oil-drain feature intended to provide a visible leak path before oil reaches the drive coupler. Its closed-front construction is designed to limit the entry of oil and oil residue into the pump drive mechanism, rotor and vanes. A wear-indicator port supports internal visual observation of vane wear.
