The United 8025-B.167 is a dual-scale true airspeed indicator with ranges of 40–250 mph and 40–210 kt.

True airspeed is obtained by correcting indicated airspeed for altitude and temperature. The instrument uses an adjustable scale: align the applicable outside-air temperature and pressure altitude using the setting control, and the airspeed scale is positioned so the pointer indicates true airspeed.
