The Sigma-Tek 1U149-012 is a 5000B-series air-driven attitude gyro in a 3-1/8 in (approximately 79 mm) format. It provides a blue-over-brown attitude display, with a moving horizon mask against a fixed aircraft symbol to present climb, descent and bank attitude.

This configuration incorporates a warning flag intended to become visible following loss of vacuum or pressure, helping provide an immediate indication of reduced instrument operating condition. The unit is specified with a lighted panel configuration; lamp trays are not included.
