Super Soundproofing 1 1/2 Black is a black closed-cell soundproofing and insulation material supplied by the linear foot. It is suitable for aircraft interior noise-reduction and insulation work where a substantial, flexible lining material is required.

The material has a smooth face to assist fitting to internal cabin skins, sidewalls, roof areas and forward firewall areas. Its closed-cell construction is stated to resist absorption of water and oil.
