Super Soundproofing 1 Black is a black closed-cell vinyl soundproofing and insulating material for aircraft interior noise-reduction installations. Supplied by the foot, this 1 inch (approximately 25 mm) material is furnished from a 48 inch-wide (approximately 1.22 m) bulk sheet.

The material has a smooth side intended to support attachment to interior cabin skins, sidewalls, overhead areas and the forward firewall. Its closed-cell construction is described as non-absorbent to water and oil, and the material can be cut with scissors for trimming during installation.
