Super Soundproofing 3/8 Black is a black closed-cell vinyl insulating material for cabin noise-reduction installations. It is supplied by the foot from a bulk roll approximately 1.22 m wide and has a nominal thickness of approximately 9.5 mm.

The smooth surface is intended to support attachment to interior cabin skins, sidewalls, overhead areas and front-firewall surfaces. The material can be cut with scissors for installation and is described by the supplier as resistant to water and oil absorption.
