LOCTITE® 242 is a blue, medium-strength anaerobic threadlocker supplied in a 50 ml bottle. Designed for metal threaded fasteners, its medium-viscosity, thixotropic formulation helps minimise migration after application.

It is intended for general-purpose threadlocking where normal disassembly with standard hand tools may be required. Henkel specifies LOCTITE® 242 for metal thread sizes up to M36.
