PPG Proseal PS-890 B-2 Fuel Tank Sealant - Quart Kit

PPG P/S 890 Class B-2 is a two-part, manganese dioxide-cured polysulphide sealant for aircraft integral fuel tank work. Supplied as a quart kit, it is formulated as a low-sag, thixotropic paste for fillet sealing of fuel tanks and other aircraft fuselage sealing applications.

The uncured material can be applied by extrusion gun or spatula and cures at room temperature to form a resilient elastomeric seal with adhesion to common aircraft substrates. PPG states that the cured sealant retains elastomeric properties after prolonged exposure to jet fuel and aviation gasoline.
