PPG Proseal PS-890 B-2 Fuel Tank Sealant - Pint Kit

PPG P/S 890 Class B-2 is a two-part, manganese-dioxide-cured polysulphide sealant supplied in a pint kit. It is intended for fillet sealing of integral aircraft fuel tanks and other aircraft fuselage sealing applications.

The uncured material is a low-sag, thixotropic paste suitable for application by extrusion gun or spatula. It cures at room temperature to form a resilient sealant with adhesion to common aircraft substrates. PPG states that the cured sealant retains elastomeric properties after prolonged exposure to jet fuel and aviation gasoline.
