3M™ Damping Aluminum Foam Sheet 4014 is a pressure-sensitive damping sheet designed to attenuate resonant vibration and reduce associated noise in thin metal, plastic panels and support structures.

The sheet combines open-cell polyurethane foam with an aluminium constraining layer and a pressure-sensitive acrylic adhesive. Its easy-release liner supports clean application; 3M states that hand pressure is sufficient to establish the bond when applied to a clean, dry surface.
