Surface Tape Dacron 2 Smooth is a smooth Dacron peel-ply tape for epoxy composite lay-ups. It is supplied in a 51 mm wide, 45.7 m roll.

During lay-up, the tape is laminated as an additional surface layer and wets out with epoxy. Once cured, it can be peeled away to leave a prepared surface for subsequent glass-to-glass bonding, helping to avoid sanding between bonding stages.
