Flamemaster Chemseal CS247 B-2 Windshield / Canopy Sealant - Quart Kit

Flamemaster Chemseal CS 247 Class B-2 is a two-part, manganese dioxide-cured polysulfide sealant for setting or repairing aircraft windshields and canopies made from glass, acrylic or polycarbonate. This quart kit is identified by manufacturer part number CS247B2 QT.

The B-2 grade provides a minimum application time of 2 hours at 25°C and 50% relative humidity. The uncured material is thixotropic, low-sag and suitable for application by extrusion gun or spatula.

• Designed for aircraft windshields, canopies and transparencies in composite or metal frames
• Black, two-part polysulphide sealant with room-temperature cure
• Resistant to crazing on acrylic and polycarbonate at room temperature and at 71°C
• Provides adhesion to aluminium, steel and a range of aircraft substrates
• UV-resistant cured material
• Documented cured service-temperature range: -54°C to +121°C

For acrylic and polycarbonate applications, Flamemaster recommends an adhesion promoter such as CS 900. Use only in accordance with the applicable maintenance data, material instructions and safety documentation.
