Flamemaster Chemseal CS 247 B-1/2 is a black, two-part manganese-dioxide-cured polysulfide sealant for setting or repairing aircraft windshields, canopies and other transparencies made from glass, acrylic or polycarbonate. It is supplied as a quart kit.

The uncured material is thixotropic (low sag) for application by extrusion gun or spatula. Flamemaster identifies CS 247 Class B for use with transparencies installed in composite or metal frames. For acrylic and polycarbonate substrates, Flamemaster recommends use of an adhesion promoter such as CS 900.
