PPG CA 1000 MASTINOX® is a one-part, non-curing, non-chromate corrosion-inhibitive jointing compound for aerospace maintenance applications. Its epoxy-capped PERMAPOL® polysulfide formulation is a thixotropic paste suitable for brush or spatula application.

The compound is intended to provide a corrosion-inhibitive barrier on aluminium alloys and between dissimilar metals. According to PPG, it remains permanently mastic after prolonged exposure to aircraft fuels, including jet fuel and aviation gasoline.
