PPG P/S 870 Class B is a two-part, manganese dioxide-cured polysulphide sealant formulated to provide corrosion-inhibitive sealing on aluminium alloys and between dissimilar metals. This pint kit is identified by manufacturer part number 0870B1/2MP012PT.

The uncured material is a low-sag, thixotropic paste suitable for application by extrusion gun or spatula. It cures at room temperature to form a resilient, elastomeric seal with adhesion to common aircraft substrates.

  • Corrosion-inhibitive sealant for aluminium alloys and dissimilar-metal interfaces
  • Two-part, manganese dioxide-cured polysulphide compound
  • Service temperature range: -54°C to +121°C, with intermittent excursions up to +135°C
  • Cured sealant retains elastomeric properties after limited exposure to jet fuel and aviation gasoline
