PPG P/S 870 Class B is a corrosion-inhibitive aerospace sealant supplied in a 2.5 oz cartridge. Manufacturer part number: 0870B1/2MP655SK.

This two-part, manganese-dioxide-cured polysulfide sealant is formulated as a low-sag, thixotropic paste for application by extrusion gun or spatula. It cures at room temperature to form a resilient, elastomeric seal with adhesion to common aircraft substrates.

  • Corrosion-inhibitive barrier for aluminium alloys and dissimilar-metal interfaces
  • Maintains elastomeric properties after limited exposure to jet fuel and aviation gasoline
  • Service temperature range: -54°C to +121°C, with intermittent excursions up to +135°C
  • Class B paste consistency for controlled sealant application
  • Supplied as a 2.5 oz cartridge
