PPG Proseal PR-870 A-1/2 Corrosion Inhibitive Sealant - 3.5 Oz. Cartridge

PPG Proseal PR-870 A-1/2, also identified by PPG as P/S 870 Class A, is a corrosion-inhibitive aerospace sealant supplied in a 3.5 oz cartridge. This two-part, manganese dioxide-cured polysulfide compound is intended for brush application.

The sealant forms a resilient, elastomeric barrier designed to help protect aluminium alloys and interfaces between dissimilar metals from common causes of corrosion. The uncured material is suitable for brush application in layers up to 25 mils and cures at room temperature with adhesion to common aircraft substrates.
