Inspecta-Shield Fire Retardant is a durable, non-toxic penetrant formulated to provide flame-retardant treatment for suitable porous materials, including fabrics, polyurethane foam, paper and wood. Once cured and dry, it is described as colourless and odourless.

The product is intended to retard flame spread and is stated by the supplier to provide protection at temperatures up to 1,204°C. It is also described as a Class A flame retardant meeting F.A.R. 25.853(a) and (b).

Important: Inspecta-Shield is corrosive to aluminium and other metals. Remove any product from metal surfaces promptly and clean the affected area thoroughly.
