LOCTITE® 640 is a one-part, low-viscosity anaerobic retaining compound for securing cylindrical metal components. Its slower cure profile allows additional positioning time during assembly, particularly for larger-diameter parts.

This 50 ml green retaining compound is designed for high-strength bonding and retention applications, including retaining bearings, bushings, sleeves, keys and splines; augmenting press fits; and helping restore fit in worn or out-of-tolerance assemblies. Use in accordance with the applicable maintenance data and Henkel technical documentation.
