PPG PR-1422® Class B B-1/2 is a two-part, dichromate-cured polysulfide sealant for aircraft integral fuel-tank and fuselage sealing work. This 3.5 oz cartridge format is identified by manufacturer part numbers 1422B1-2AM65 and 1422B1-2AM654SK.

The uncured material is a low-sag, thixotropic paste suitable for application by extrusion gun or spatula. It cures at room temperature to form a resilient, elastomeric sealant with adhesion to common aircraft substrates.

  • PR-1422® Class B fuel-tank sealant
  • B-1/2 grade
  • Two-part polysulfide formulation
  • Designed for fillet sealing of fuel tanks and other fuselage sealing applications
  • Service temperature range: -54 °C to +121 °C, with intermittent excursions up to +135 °C
  • Cured sealant retains elastomeric properties after exposure to jet fuel and aviation gasoline
  • 3.5 oz cartridge
