DAPCO 2200 is a primerless, solvent-free, thixotropic silicone paste supplied in a 6 oz unit. It is intended for use as a coating, sealant or filleting material in aircraft construction, repair and maintenance work.

The material is suited to applications where fire resistance, exposure to phosphate-ester fluids or other aerospace chemicals, and elevated or low service temperatures are important considerations. It may also be used as an insulating and/or ablative heat-shield material where appropriate.

  • Thixotropic paste consistency for controlled application
  • Service-temperature range: -54 °C to +204 °C
  • Stated fire resistance up to 1,093 °C
  • Non-volatile content stated as greater than 97%
  • Listed as qualified to BMS 5-63, AMS3374 and BAMS 552-004
