PPG PR-1422 B-2 is a two-part, dichromate-cured polysulfide sealant for aircraft integral fuel tank and fuselage sealing work. This pint kit is identified by manufacturer part number 1422B002AM012PT.

The uncured material is a low-sag, thixotropic paste suitable for application by extrusion gun or spatula. It cures at room temperature to form a resilient sealant with adhesion to common aircraft substrates.

  • PR-1422 Class B-2 fuel tank sealant
  • Two-part polysulfide formulation
  • Designed for fillet sealing in fuel tank and fuselage applications
  • Maintains elastomeric properties following exposure to jet fuel and aviation gasoline
  • Service temperature range: -54 °C to +121 °C, with intermittent excursions up to +135 °C
